1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Hello World Games Apps (“we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your use of the World Map & Countries mobile application and the website at allcountries.app (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement and/or the Google Play Terms of Service, as applicable.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
3. License to use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer (except where prohibited by law), remove proprietary notices, or circumvent Premium gating, ad delivery, or usage limits.
4. Subscriptions, free trial & billing
The App offers an optional Atlas Premium subscription that unlocks additional continents, premium map styles, unlimited AI messaging (subject to fair-use pacing), and removes advertising. Premium may be offered as an auto-renewing subscription and may include a free trial. Exact pricing and trial length are shown in the App and on the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Free trial. If a trial is offered and you don’t cancel before it ends, it may convert to a paid subscription.
- Manage or cancel in App Store / Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period already in effect.
Refunds are handled according to Apple or Google Play refund policies and any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country.
5. AI features
The App includes AI chat experiences (“Ask AI” and “Atlas AI”) powered by third-party AI models. When you use them, the text you enter is sent to the AI provider to generate a response, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. It is for information and entertainment only and is not professional advice.
- Always independently confirm important information (for example visa rules, safety, or travel requirements) with official sources.
- Do not enter personal, financial, health, or confidential information into AI chats.
6. Informational content
Country facts, flags, maps, borders, and editorial descriptions are provided for educational purposes. We make no guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Maps, borders, place names, and country groupings are shown for reference only and do not represent a political position regarding sovereignty or territory.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App unlawfully; interfere with or overload our systems; use bots or scrapers to bypass limits; introduce malware; or infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The App and its content — including design, text, graphics, the Atlas globe mascot, illustrations, and code — are owned by Hello World Games Apps or its licensors. Certain assets (flags, country data, map data) are provided by third parties under their own licenses.
9. Third-party services
The App integrates third-party services including OpenAI, Google (Firebase, AdMob, Maps, Play Billing), Apple App Store billing, and Mapbox. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Advertising
The free version of the App may be supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. Subscribing to Premium removes ads.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content or AI output will be accurate.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunity arising from your use of the App or AI-generated content. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 25. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hello World Games Apps from claims arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as required by Apple/Google policy or applicable law.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Hello World Games Apps is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Where you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App or on the stores. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
